D. Jeanne Ripley was raised in Collingwood and currently
lives in Dartmouth, NS.   She has always loved language
and began writing poems and essays at the age of fifteen.
Her work has appeared in several publications and poetry
readings.

Twenty pieces from Wings to Fly were read and exhibited
at Anderson Gallery in Lunenburg, NS in 2006. Several
poems from the manuscript were published on-line with
Northwind Press and in The Nashwaak Review in 2007.
Wings to Fly is her first book.

Jeanne seeks the essence of a meaningful life through
meditation, membership with the Institute of Noetics Sciences,
creative exploration and the integration of heart and mind. Her
inspired writing is an expression of this search.
